Co bylo d\u016fvodem mimo\u0159\u00e1dn\u00e9 popularity stoicismu mezi ran\u00fdmi k\u0159es\u0165any? A co pro stoiky znamenala nen\u00e1ru\u017eivost?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>\u201ePs\u00ed filozofov\u00e9\u201c a Zenon<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Stoicismus byl nejroz\u0161\u00ed\u0159en\u011bj\u0161\u00ed filozofickou \u0161kolou v hel\u00e9nistick\u00e9 dob\u011b a mo\u017en\u00e1 jedinou \u0161kolou, kter\u00e1 se rozv\u00edjela nejen ve starov\u011bk\u00e9m \u0158ecku, ale i v \u0158\u00edm\u011b. \u0158\u00edman\u00e9, i kdy\u017e nebyli naklon\u011bni filozofov\u00e1n\u00ed, p\u0159ijali stoicismus jako svou vlastn\u00ed filozofii. Ale i na ran\u00e9 k\u0159es\u0165anstv\u00ed, k\u0159es\u0165anskou filozofii a sv\u011bton\u00e1zor m\u011bl nejv\u011bt\u0161\u00ed vliv ze v\u0161ech hel\u00e9nistick\u00fdch \u0161kol stoicismus. Platon za\u010dal b\u00fdt popul\u00e1rn\u00ed pozd\u011bji, ve 4. stol.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Zakladatelem filozofie stoicismu, kter\u00e1 se objevila na konci 4. stolet\u00ed p\u0159ed Kristem, byl Zenon z Kitia. Tento n\u00e1mo\u0159n\u00edk a kupec p\u016fvodn\u011b nem\u011bl v \u00famyslu studovat filozofii. Jednou ji\u017e ve zral\u00e9m v\u011bku (bylo mu p\u0159es 30 let) vezl zbo\u017e\u00ed z F\u00e9nicie do Ath\u00e9n. B\u011bhem bou\u0159e lo\u010f ztroskotala. Zenon p\u0159e\u017eil, ale o v\u0161echno p\u0159i\u0161el. Po p\u0159\u00edjezdu do Ath\u00e9n za\u0161el do knihkupectv\u00ed a vzal si Xenof\u00f3novo d\u00edlo o Sokratovi. Okam\u017eit\u011b si ho p\u0159e\u010detl a byl ohromen! Zeptal se prodejce: \u201eJsou je\u0161t\u011b takov\u00ed lid\u00e9?\u201c V tu chv\u00edli do obch\u016fdku vstoupil kynick\u00fd filozof Krat\u00e9s a prodava\u010d na n\u011bj uk\u00e1zal. Zenon p\u0159esv\u011bd\u010dil Krat\u00e9se, aby ho p\u0159ijal mezi sv\u00e9 u\u010dedn\u00edky.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>N\u00e1zev \u0161koly, do kter\u00e9 pat\u0159il Krat\u00e9s, je odvozen od chr\u00e1mu na kopci Kynosarges, ale kynikov\u00e9 \u0159\u00edkali, \u017ee n\u00e1zev jejich \u0161koly je odvozen od slova <em>ky\u00f3n<\/em> \u2013 pes, a sami sebe naz\u00fdvali \u201eps\u00ed filozofov\u00e9\u201c. Proto zl\u00e9 jazyky pozd\u011bji tvrdily, \u017ee cel\u00e1 Zenonova filozofie byla \u201enaps\u00e1na na konci ps\u00edho ocasu\u201c.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Kynikov\u00e9 se nestyd\u011bli za sv\u00e9 v\u00e1\u0161n\u011b a instinkty, inspirovali se zv\u00ed\u0159aty. \u010clov\u011bk podle nich mus\u00ed \u017e\u00edt v&nbsp;souladu se svou p\u0159irozenost\u00ed. Je to zaru\u010den\u00e1 cesta ke \u0161t\u011bst\u00ed. Nepova\u017eovali za nutn\u00e9 skr\u00fdvat sv\u00e9 p\u0159irozen\u00e9 pot\u0159eby a m\u00edsto toho, aby \u0161li na z\u00e1chod, mohli si ulevit p\u0159\u00edmo na ulici. T\u00edm potvrzovali svou p\u0159ezd\u00edvku \u201eps\u00ed filozofov\u00e9\u201c.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>K t\u00e9to \u0161kole pat\u0159il slavn\u00fd Diogen\u00e9s ze Sin\u00f3p\u00e9. Vypr\u00e1v\u011blo se o n\u011bm mnoho r\u016fzn\u00fdch historek. Mohl t\u0159eba chodit p\u0159es den po Ath\u00e9n\u00e1ch s lucernou a hledat n\u011bjak\u00e9ho \u010dlov\u011bka. \u017dil na ath\u00e9nsk\u00e9m tr\u017ei\u0161ti v sudu. Jednoho dne s\u00a0n\u00edm cht\u011bl mluvit Alexandr Makedonsk\u00fd. Diogen\u00e9s v\u00a0tu chv\u00edli sed\u011bl a vyh\u0159\u00edval se na slunci. \u201eJsem velik\u00fd kr\u00e1l Alexandr,\u201c \u0159ekl panovn\u00edk. \u201eA j\u00e1 jsem pes Diogen\u00e9s,\u201c odpov\u011bd\u011bl filozof. Ale Zenon si od t\u00e9to \u0161koly vzal to nejd\u016fle\u017eit\u011bj\u0161\u00ed \u2013 schopnost \u017e\u00edt v harmonii se sv\u011btem. Je d\u016fle\u017eit\u00e9 poznamenat, \u017ee hlavn\u00edm \u00fakolem filozofie hel\u00e9nistick\u00e9ho obdob\u00ed je hled\u00e1n\u00ed \u0161t\u011bst\u00ed, bla\u017eenosti v tomto slo\u017eit\u00e9m, obrovsk\u00e9m, nep\u0159\u00edv\u011btiv\u00e9m sv\u011bt\u011b.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Filozofie jako vejce<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Po sezn\u00e1men\u00ed s filozofi\u00ed kynik\u016f Zenon, kter\u00fd miloval samotu (jak p\u00ed\u0161e Diogen\u00e9s Laertios, Zenon byl nevzhledn\u00fd: velmi vysok\u00fd, huben\u00fd, s tlust\u00fdma nohama), zalo\u017eil svou vlastn\u00ed \u0161kolu na m\u00edst\u011b, kter\u00e9mu se Ath\u00e9\u0148an\u00e9 sna\u017eili vyh\u00fdbat. Bylo to m\u00edsto popravy 1400 lid\u00ed za vl\u00e1dy 30 tyran\u016f ustanoven\u00fdch Spartou po jej\u00edm v\u00edt\u011bzstv\u00ed nad Ath\u00e9nami v Pelopon\u00e9sk\u00e9 v\u00e1lce. Tam se nach\u00e1zelo zdoben\u00e9 sloupo\u0159ad\u00ed. Pr\u00e1v\u011b v&nbsp;tomto sloupo\u0159ad\u00ed (\u0159ecky \u2013 <em>stoa poikil\u00e9<\/em>) zalo\u017eil Zenon svou \u0161kolu. Z&nbsp;toho je odvozen i n\u00e1zev \u0161koly Stoa. Zde si m\u016f\u017eeme vzpomenout na Epikurovu Zahradu, Platonovu Akademii i Aristotel\u016fv Lykeion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Postupem \u010dasu Zenon z\u00edskal mnoho u\u010dedn\u00edk\u016f. Nejzn\u00e1m\u011bj\u0161\u00ed z&nbsp;nich jsou Kleanth\u00e9s z&nbsp;Assu, Chr\u00fdsippos ze Soloi, ti pak m\u011bli sv\u00e9 n\u00e1sledovn\u00edky: Panaitia a Poseid\u00f3nia. V&nbsp;1. stolet\u00ed p\u0159ed Kristem se tato filozofie roz\u0161\u00ed\u0159ila v \u0158\u00edm\u011b. Jej\u00edmi p\u0159edstaviteli byli otrok Epikt\u00e9tos, vychovatel c\u00edsa\u0159e Nerona Luccius Annaeus Seneca, c\u00edsa\u0159 Marcus Aurelius. V \u0158\u00edm\u011b filozofie stoik\u016f byla popul\u00e1rn\u00ed mezi v\u0161emi vrstvami spole\u010dnosti od otrok\u016f po c\u00edsa\u0159e. Pro\u010d? Proto\u017ee opravdu pom\u00e1hala lidem \u017e\u00edt v tomto sv\u011bt\u011b, a p\u0159itom si \u017eivot u\u017e\u00edvat a b\u00fdt \u0161\u0165astn\u00ed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Stoikov\u00e9 se zab\u00fdvali ot\u00e1zkou hled\u00e1n\u00ed \u0161t\u011bst\u00ed d\u016fkladn\u011b. Za prv\u00e9 \u010dlov\u011bk mus\u00ed zjistit, jak\u00fd tento sv\u011bt je. Proto\u017ee podm\u00ednkou pro \u0161t\u011bst\u00ed je soulad se sv\u011btem. Abyste byli v souladu se sv\u011btem, mus\u00edte v\u011bd\u011bt, jak\u00fd sv\u011bt je. Proto je t\u0159eba ho spr\u00e1vn\u011b poznat. Nejd\u0159\u00edve se zab\u00fdv\u00e1me teori\u00ed pozn\u00e1n\u00ed a pot\u00e9 samotn\u00fdm pozn\u00e1n\u00edm sv\u011bta. Krom\u011b Aristotela k rozvoji logiky ve starov\u011bku nejv\u00edce p\u0159isp\u011bli pr\u00e1v\u011b stoikov\u00e9.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Pomoc\u00ed pravidel pozn\u00e1n\u00ed se dozv\u00edd\u00e1me, jak\u00fd tento sv\u011bt je, to znamen\u00e1, \u017ee se zab\u00fdv\u00e1me fyzikou a tyto znalosti pak vyu\u017e\u00edv\u00e1me k \u0159e\u0161en\u00ed ot\u00e1zek etiky. Stoikov\u00e9 p\u0159i\u0161li s \u00fa\u017easn\u00fdm p\u0159irovn\u00e1n\u00edm: ve\u0161ker\u00e1 filozofie je podobn\u00e1 vejci: sko\u0159\u00e1pka je logika, b\u00edlek je fyzika a \u017eloutek je to nejd\u016fle\u017eit\u011bj\u0161\u00ed \u2013 etika. Koneckonc\u016f bez sko\u0159\u00e1pky a b\u00edlku se \u017eloutek nestane \u017eivou bytost\u00ed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>V oblasti epistemologie stoikov\u00e9 zcela spol\u00e9haj\u00ed na smysly. Neust\u00e1le polemizuj\u00ed s Plat\u00f3nem, s jeho racionalismem a ned\u016fv\u011brou v city. Jedinec ale mus\u00ed jasn\u011b pochopit, jak\u00e9 to jsou city. Nem\u011bl by soudit o p\u0159edm\u011btech, kdy\u017e jsou daleko, kdy\u017e je tma, kdy\u017e s\u00e1m je ospal\u00fd, opil\u00fd \u010di nemocn\u00fd. Neklamou n\u00e1s na\u0161e city, ale na\u0161e stavy a neschopnost se v&nbsp;nich vyznat.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>B\u016fh je, svoboda nen\u00ed<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Nejzaj\u00edmav\u011bj\u0161\u00edm objevem stoik\u016f v oblasti fyziky je existence Boha, kter\u00e9mu jako jedni z prvn\u00edch za\u010dali \u0159\u00edkat Logos. Poprv\u00e9 toto slovo k ozna\u010den\u00ed Boha pou\u017eil H\u00e9rakleitos. Stoikov\u00e9 o existenci Boha nejen mluvili, oni ji i prok\u00e1zali! V\u0161imli si \u00fa\u017easn\u00e9 kr\u00e1sy a po\u0159\u00e1dku ve sv\u011bt\u011b. Kleanth\u00e9s p\u00ed\u0161e: \u201eKdy\u017e vstoup\u00ed\u0161 do n\u011bjak\u00e9ho gymnasia nebo f\u00f3ra a uvid\u00ed\u0161 tam \u00fa\u017easnou \u010distotu a po\u0159\u00e1dek, napadne t\u011b, \u017ee je zde dobr\u00fd a moudr\u00fd spr\u00e1vce. A kdy\u017e ve sv\u011bt\u011b vid\u00ed\u0161 je\u0161t\u011b lep\u0161\u00ed po\u0159\u00e1dek, a je\u0161t\u011b v\u011bt\u0161\u00ed kr\u00e1su, je ti jasno, \u017ee Spr\u00e1vce tohoto sv\u011bta je mnohem moud\u0159ej\u0161\u00ed a m\u00e1 mnohem v\u011bt\u0161\u00ed moc.\u201c Tyto argumenty byly pozd\u011bji pou\u017eity v k\u0159es\u0165ansk\u00e9 teologii, v tzv. teleologick\u00e9m d\u016fkazu existence Boha, jednom z nejroz\u0161\u00ed\u0159en\u011bj\u0161\u00edch dodnes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Stoikov\u00e9 dosp\u00edvaj\u00ed k z\u00e1v\u011bru, \u017ee existuje jen jeden B\u016fh. Pro\u010d jeden? Proto\u017ee pouze jeden B\u016fh m\u016f\u017ee udr\u017eet cel\u00fd vesm\u00edr v celistvosti, v harmonii a jednotn\u00e9m \u0159\u00e1du. Ale pokud B\u016fh udr\u017euje cel\u00fd tento vesm\u00edr v jedin\u00e9m \u0159\u00e1du, je s t\u00edmto vesm\u00edrem jedno \u2013 nen\u00ed mimo n\u011bj, jinak by se sv\u011bt rozpadl. Prostupuje j\u00edm a spojuje v\u0161echny jeho \u010d\u00e1sti dohromady. Stoikov\u00e9 proto Boha \u010dasto naz\u00fdvali <em>pneuma<\/em> \u2013 duch. Ov\u0161em ducha ch\u00e1pali jako ur\u010ditou jemnou materii ohniv\u011b vzdu\u0161n\u00e9 povahy. Lidsk\u00e1 du\u0161e je tak\u00e9 jemn\u011b hmotn\u00e1. Slova <em>pneuma<\/em> a <em>logos<\/em> stoikov\u00e9 pou\u017e\u00edvali prakticky jako synonyma. B\u016fh je du\u0161e sv\u011bta, kter\u00e1 prostupuje cel\u00fdm sv\u011btem a spl\u00fdv\u00e1 s\u00a0n\u00edm. T\u00e9to koncepci se \u0159\u00edk\u00e1 panteismus. B\u016fh podle stoik\u016f jakoby zahrnuje sv\u011bt v sob\u011b. V tom vid\u00edme velmi d\u016fle\u017eit\u00fd rozd\u00edl mezi stoick\u00fdm konceptem a my\u0161lenkou Epikura. Epikur\u016fv sv\u011bt se skl\u00e1d\u00e1 z atom\u016f nez\u00e1visl\u00fdch na sob\u011b, co\u017e zaru\u010duje nez\u00e1vislost ka\u017ed\u00e9ho \u010dlov\u011bka a jeho \u00faplnou svobodu. Ale sv\u011bt stoik\u016f p\u0159edstavuje jednotn\u00fd celek, kde v\u0161e je spojeno s Bohem, Logem, a z toho vypl\u00fdv\u00e1, \u017ee \u017e\u00e1dn\u00e1 svoboda nen\u00ed.<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-full is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"800\" height=\"976\" src=\"https:\/\/www.hlas-pravoslavi.cz\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/01\/223690.b.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-3116\" style=\"width:500px\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.hlas-pravoslavi.cz\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/01\/223690.b.jpg 800w, https:\/\/www.hlas-pravoslavi.cz\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/01\/223690.b-246x300.jpg 246w, https:\/\/www.hlas-pravoslavi.cz\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/01\/223690.b-768x937.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 800px) 100vw, 800px\" \/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p><strong>Apatheia jako nen\u00e1ru\u017eivost<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Pod\u00edvejme se nyn\u00ed na etick\u00e9 z\u00e1v\u011bry stoik\u016f. Jejich hlavn\u00ed poselstv\u00ed spo\u010d\u00edv\u00e1 v \u00fapln\u00e9m podroben\u00ed cel\u00e9ho sv\u011bta bo\u017esk\u00e9mu Logu. Hlavn\u00edm d\u016fvodem na\u0161eho ne\u0161t\u011bst\u00ed je p\u0159esv\u011bd\u010den\u00ed, \u017ee jsme svobodn\u00ed a na n\u00e1s n\u011bco z\u00e1le\u017e\u00ed. \u010clov\u011bk si \u010dasto vy\u010d\u00edt\u00e1, \u017ee se choval nespr\u00e1vn\u011b, ale mohl se zachovat jinak, a pak by jeho \u017eivot byl \u00fapln\u011b jin\u00fd, dos\u00e1hl by \u00fasp\u011bchu&#8230; To je ale nejv\u011bt\u0161\u00ed klam, kter\u00fd n\u00e1m bere klid, \u0161t\u011bst\u00ed a harmonii se sv\u011btem. Mus\u00edme se sm\u00ed\u0159it s&nbsp;Logem, zcela se mu poddat. Proto pozd\u011bj\u0161\u00ed stoikov\u00e9 ke slov\u016fm <em>Logos<\/em>, <em>B\u016fh<\/em>, <em>Pneuma<\/em> dod\u00e1vaj\u00ed slova <em>osud<\/em>, <em>\u00fad\u011bl<\/em>, <em>f\u00e1tum<\/em>. B\u016fh je moudr\u00fd nejen v prostorov\u00e9m smyslu, ale i ve smyslu \u010dasov\u00e9m. Pokud se v\u0161echno ve sv\u011bt\u011b vyv\u00edj\u00ed a pohybuje, je za t\u00edm B\u016fh, a to znamen\u00e1, \u017ee se sv\u011bt pohybuje spr\u00e1vn\u011b, proto\u017ee B\u016fh je moudr\u00fd! Tak\u017ee kdy\u017e si st\u011b\u017euji na to, co se mi stalo, prost\u011b nech\u00e1pu, \u017ee se to st\u00e1t m\u011blo. Za v\u0161echno mus\u00edm d\u011bkovat Bohu. K&nbsp;takov\u00fdm z\u00e1v\u011br\u016fm ale dosp\u011bj\u00ed teprve k\u0159es\u0165an\u00e9, zat\u00edmco stoikov\u00e9 se omezuj\u00ed na pojem <em>apatie<\/em> \u2013 nen\u00e1ru\u017eivost.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Na\u0161e v\u00e1\u0161n\u011b jsou hlavn\u00ed p\u0159\u00ed\u010dinou na\u0161ich ne\u0161t\u011bst\u00ed, proto anal\u00fdza v\u00e1\u0161n\u00ed je hlavn\u00edm t\u00e9matem pozdn\u00edch stoik\u016f, p\u0159edev\u0161\u00edm \u0159\u00edmsk\u00fdch.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u0158\u00edm\u0161t\u00ed stoikov\u00e9 se nezab\u00fdvali fyzikou ani logikou, ty u\u017e d\u00e1vno rozvinuli Zenon, Kleanth\u00e9s, Chr\u00fdsippos a dal\u0161\u00ed. Se znalost\u00ed fyziky a logiky mohli p\u0159ej\u00edt k etice. A hlavn\u00ed nen\u00ed u\u010den\u00ed o tom, jak spr\u00e1vn\u011b jednat, ale o tom, jak spr\u00e1vn\u011b reagovat. V\u00e1\u0161n\u011b, na\u0161e emoce, na\u0161e reakce na to, co se n\u00e1m d\u011bje, jsou hlavn\u00ed p\u0159\u00ed\u010dinou na\u0161eho ne\u0161t\u011bst\u00ed, mus\u00edme se nau\u010dit spr\u00e1vn\u011b reagovat na ka\u017edou situaci.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Stoikov\u00e9 analyzovali r\u016fzn\u00e9 v\u00e1\u0161n\u011b a reakce: negativn\u00ed postoj, hn\u011bv, smutek, ale tak\u00e9 radost, pot\u011b\u0161en\u00ed. A dosp\u011bli k&nbsp;tomu, \u017ee v\u0161echno je \u0161patn\u00e9. Odkud se bere radost? Ud\u011blal jsem n\u011bco a p\u0159ineslo mi to \u00fasp\u011bch, u\u017eitek, jsem \u0161\u0165astn\u00fd z&nbsp;toho, jak jsem chytr\u00fd a \u0161ikovn\u00fd! Ale to prost\u011b n\u00e1hodou bylo v&nbsp;souladu s pl\u00e1nem Logu! Nebo naopak: n\u011bco jsem ud\u011blal a p\u0159ineslo mi to ne\u0161t\u011bst\u00ed, m\u011bl jsem to ud\u011blat jinak, jsem hlup\u00e1k a smola\u0159! To v\u0161e je k&nbsp;ni\u010demu! Smi\u0159 se, poko\u0159 se, p\u0159ijmi ne\u00fasp\u011bchy a radosti nezaujat\u011b, jako by na tob\u011b nez\u00e1visely. V\u00e1\u0161n\u011b n\u00e1m ni\u010d\u00ed \u017eivot!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ale n\u011bkte\u0159\u00ed filozofov\u00e9, jako nap\u0159\u00edklad Epikt\u00e9tos, rozd\u011blovali ud\u00e1losti na dva typy: ty, kter\u00e9 na n\u00e1s nez\u00e1vis\u00ed, a ty, kter\u00e9 m\u016f\u017eeme ovlivnit. Ud\u00e1losti, kter\u00e9 na n\u00e1s nez\u00e1vis\u00ed, mus\u00edme vn\u00edmat nezaujat\u011b. Pro\u010d b\u00fdt smutn\u00fd, kdy\u017e venku pr\u0161\u00ed? N\u00e1ladu si zkaz\u00ed\u0161, kdy\u017e si bude\u0161 \u0159\u00edkat: \u201e\u0160koda, \u017ee pr\u0161\u00ed, ale v\u010dera bylo tak hezky.\u201c Pom\u016f\u017ee ti to? P\u0159estane pr\u0161et? Samoz\u0159ejm\u011b \u017ee ne. Tak\u017ee si klidn\u011b vezmi de\u0161tn\u00edk, obl\u00e9kni pl\u00e1\u0161t\u011bnku a hur\u00e1 do pr\u00e1ce. Ale ve vztahu k t\u011bm ud\u00e1lostem, kter\u00e9 na n\u00e1s z\u00e1vis\u00ed, mus\u00edte podniknout n\u011bjak\u00e9 kroky, vynalo\u017eit \u00fasil\u00ed, abychom z\u00edskali pot\u011b\u0161en\u00ed. Ale jen m\u00e1lo stoik\u016f souhlasilo s&nbsp;Epikt\u00e9tem. Nicm\u00e9n\u011b tento filozof ovlivnil c\u00edsa\u0159e Marca Aurelia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>V\u011b\u010dn\u00fd probl\u00e9m: Odkud se bere zlo?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Stoikov\u00e9 se zab\u00fdvali ot\u00e1zkou dobroty Boha a existence utrpen\u00ed v na\u0161em sv\u011bt\u011b. Pokud je Logos dobr\u00fd a p\u0159in\u00e1\u0161\u00ed do sv\u011bta jen kr\u00e1su a dobro, odkud se ve sv\u011bt\u011b bere zlo? N\u011bkter\u00e9 my\u0161lenky stoik\u016f na toto t\u00e9ma pozd\u011bji pou\u017eij\u00ed k\u0159es\u0165an\u00e9.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Nev\u00edme, co je dobro a co zlo. Jsme jako d\u011bti, kter\u00e9 se zlob\u00ed na rodi\u010de, proto\u017ee jim m\u00edsto \u010dokol\u00e1dy d\u00e1vaj\u00ed ka\u0161i, ale v dosp\u011blosti rodi\u010d\u016fm pod\u011bkuj\u00ed za to, \u017ee jim d\u00e1vali zdravou v\u00fd\u017eivu. I n\u00e1m se zd\u00e1, \u017ee n\u00e1s potkalo ne\u0161t\u011bst\u00ed, ale my prost\u011b nev\u00edme o v\u0161ech okolnostech. M\u00e1me jen omezen\u00fd obraz sv\u011bta, ale Logos vid\u00ed n\u00e1\u0161 osud v&nbsp;jeho celistvosti, vid\u00ed na\u0161i budoucnost.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Stoikov\u00e9 tak\u00e9 u\u010dili, \u017ee zlo je nutn\u00e9 pro na\u0161i v\u00fdchovu. Kdyby v\u0161echno v&nbsp;na\u0161em \u017eivot\u011b bylo jen dobr\u00e9, nem\u011bli bychom pevnou v\u016fli a nedok\u00e1zali bychom se sm\u00ed\u0159it s osudem a bojovat s v\u00e1\u0161n\u011bmi, co\u017e je z\u00e1kladem pro na\u0161e \u0161t\u011bst\u00ed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Z u\u010den\u00ed stoik\u016f vypl\u00fdv\u00e1 dal\u0161\u00ed probl\u00e9m: \u010dlov\u011bk nen\u00ed svobodn\u00fd, proto\u017ee je zcela z\u00e1visl\u00fd na osudu. Zd\u00e1 se, \u017ee je to naprost\u00fd fatalismus. Ale my\u0161lenka stoik\u016f nen\u00ed tak primitivn\u00ed. Seneca ji vyj\u00e1d\u0159il takto: \u201eCht\u011bj\u00edc\u00edho osud vede, necht\u011bj\u00edc\u00edho vle\u010de.\u201c<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Zde lze uv\u00e9st takov\u00fd p\u0159\u00edklad: b\u011bhem bitvy jeden voj\u00e1k zajal sv\u00e9ho protivn\u00edka a jak se v t\u00e9 dob\u011b \u010dasto d\u011blalo, p\u0159iv\u00e1zal ho ke sv\u00e9mu koni a zam\u00ed\u0159il do sv\u00e9ho t\u00e1bora. Pokud je zajatec chytr\u00fd, pob\u011b\u017e\u00ed za kon\u011bm a pak se mu mo\u017en\u00e1 poda\u0159\u00ed ze zajet\u00ed uprchnout. Je-li hlup\u00e1k, pokus\u00ed se osvobodit a k\u016f\u0148 p\u0159it\u00e1hne do nep\u0159\u00e1telsk\u00e9ho t\u00e1bora zakrv\u00e1cenou mrtvolu. Stejn\u011b tak by se m\u011bl \u010dlov\u011bk poslu\u0161n\u011b podrobit sv\u00e9mu osudu, a jednou bude svobodn\u00fd od sv\u00fdch v\u00e1\u0161n\u00ed, od sv\u00e9 hlouposti, arogance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Pozd\u011bji se z t\u00e9to filozofie zrodila dal\u0161\u00ed slavn\u00e1 v\u011bta: \u201eSvoboda je poznan\u00e1 nutnost.\u201c Budou o tom mluvit Spinoza, Hegel a Marx. V tomto ch\u00e1p\u00e1n\u00ed svobody je ur\u010dit\u00e1 jednostrannost. K\u0159es\u0165anstv\u00ed u\u010d\u00ed, \u017ee B\u016fh je osoba, a nikoli neosobn\u00ed osud, jako ve stoicismu. V evangeliu \u010dteme: \u201ePozn\u00e1te pravdu a pravda v\u00e1s u\u010din\u00ed svobodn\u00fdmi\u201c (Jan 8:32). Pravda je \u0161ir\u0161\u00ed ne\u017e nutnost. Proto se i my m\u016f\u017eeme st\u00e1t svobodn\u00fdmi, kdy\u017e svou v\u016fli pod\u0159\u00edd\u00edme Bohu.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Stoick\u00e1 filozofie v prvn\u00edch stalet\u00edch na\u0161eho letopo\u010dtu byla nesm\u00edrn\u011b popul\u00e1rn\u00ed nejen mezi pohany, ale i mezi k\u0159es\u0165any. N\u011bkte\u0159\u00ed k\u0159es\u0165an\u0161t\u00ed filozofov\u00e9, jako nap\u0159\u00edklad Tertullianus, pln\u011b sd\u00edleli dokonce i fyziku stoik\u016f, a \u0159\u00edkali, \u017ee B\u016fh je hmotn\u00fd, je z&nbsp;jak\u00e9si \u201ejemn\u00e9 hmoty\u201c. Hmotn\u00e1 je i du\u0161e. Tertullianus p\u00ed\u0161e: \u201eStoikov\u00e9 t\u00e9m\u011b\u0159 na\u0161imi slovy \u0159\u00edkaj\u00ed, \u017ee du\u0161e je t\u011blesn\u00e1 substance.\u201c C\u00edrkevn\u00ed svat\u00ed otcov\u00e9 samoz\u0159ejm\u011b nesouhlas\u00ed s extr\u00e9mn\u00edm z\u00e1v\u011brem Tertulliana, \u017ee B\u016fh je t\u011blesn\u00fd, ale i mezi nimi se najdou tac\u00ed, kte\u0159\u00ed v&nbsp;souladu se stoiky budou mluvit o hmotnosti du\u0161e, nap\u0159\u00edklad sv. Makarios Egyptsk\u00fd, Jan Kassian \u0158\u00edman a dal\u0161\u00ed. Du\u0161e je hmotn\u00e1, proto\u017ee duchem je pouze B\u016fh. Ka\u017ed\u00e9 stvo\u0159en\u00ed je do t\u00e9 \u010di on\u00e9 m\u00edry hmotn\u00e9 a t\u011blesn\u00e9. Tomuto n\u00e1zoru se postav\u00ed svat\u00fd Maxim Vyznava\u010d, kter\u00fd n\u00e1sleduje Platona bude \u0159\u00edkat: \u201eKdo jsou ti, kte\u0159\u00ed tvrd\u00ed, \u017ee nen\u00ed jedin\u00e9 stvo\u0159en\u00ed, kter\u00e9 by bylo nehmotn\u00e9 a net\u011blesn\u00e9? Du\u0161e je bytost nehmotn\u00e1 a net\u011blesn\u00e1, \u017eije v t\u011ble a o\u017eivuje ho.\u201c<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ale mnohem v\u011bt\u0161\u00ed vliv na k\u0159es\u0165any m\u011bla stoick\u00e1 etika. I n\u011bkte\u0159\u00ed stoikov\u00e9 vid\u011bli v k\u0159es\u0165anstv\u00ed u\u010den\u00ed bl\u00edzk\u00e9 jejich vlastn\u00edmu. Mo\u017en\u00e1 proto po promluv\u011b apo\u0161tola Pavla na Areopagu, kde byli p\u0159\u00edtomni i stoi\u010dt\u00ed filozofov\u00e9, n\u011bkte\u0159\u00ed z nich uv\u011b\u0159ili v&nbsp;Krista. Ov\u0161em stoick\u00e9 u\u010den\u00ed o nen\u00e1ru\u017eivosti neodpov\u00eddalo k\u0159es\u0165ansk\u00e9mu ch\u00e1p\u00e1n\u00ed \u017eivota v Bohu. Naprost\u00e1 nen\u00e1ru\u017eivost stoicismu se li\u0161\u00ed od k\u0159es\u0165ansk\u00e9ho boje proti v\u00e1\u0161n\u00edm a h\u0159\u00ed\u0161n\u00fdm my\u0161lenk\u00e1m a l\u00e1sky k Bohu a bli\u017en\u00edmu.
